I want to try to do monthly updates on my progress on my resolutions.
- Losing weight is going pretty great. As of yesterday, I’m officially down 18 pounds. Only 42-47 to go until I’m super happy with it. My pants are all getting big, and it’s going to be hopefully soon that I can go into a juniors’ department and get new clothes there. Everyone notices the fact that inches are falling off of me, and that my face has slimmed considerably. I’m planning to go to Old Navy and get some smaller work pants in the near future. I won’t lie, it’s been pretty damn hard since everyone loves to order out, but I stick to my Chinese and I’ve done really well on sticking on the wagon.
- As my not being a doormat resolution goes, I stopped talking completely to my friends who I had to work on the friendship with. It didn’t take long for Marci to come find me at work and apologize for not being around, and I’ve forgiven her. Robyn still hasn’t made an effort, but I have some new friends on the horizon (Lindsey & Sara!) and the outlook is good.
- I’ve been to see Twilight twice this year by myself, and to two Pens games, courtesy of Nick. I didn’t really strike it up with anyone there, but that’s more going out than I’ve done in a very long time.
- I haven’t really seen any shows I want to go to yet, but I have my eye out. We’ll see what happens.
- Haven’t been to the book store lately either, since I’ve been saving money for vacations. I’d like to find something, though. Maybe a good mystery or comedy?
- I’ve begun looking into the requirements for LECOM out in Greensburg. I have to call the school and see if they accept transfer credits from community college, because I’d likely be doing all my requirements there. Fingers crossed.
- Recession is bad for me, because CVS is capping raises at 2%, so I will be making $9.15 after May 16th. Sucks, but like I’ve been saying — at least I still HAVE a job.
- I guess the 3rd last and last can be lumped together, and I am making progress. It’s slow but sure.
- Like I said above, I’m saving money. Another trip will be DC with my aunt, cousin, and grandma. Should be fun!
That’s my recap. Otherwise, life is typical. Working all the time. Exhaustion. Trying to understand WHY my ex is being like he is. I dunno.

I am getting into a fairly good place.
I’m down 15 pounds from my all-time high. I haven’t touched 200 pounds on the scale in at least a week, and that feels amazing. I think part of the transformation has to do with the fact that every time I try to eat fast food, I get sick, so there is no more fast food in my life. Gone are the 2 double hamburger, 1 4-piece nugget, 2 large fries, and a large sweet tea days. I am usually unable to even finish my dinner now. It feels fabulous to get to this point. I eat two large meals a day, and eat 3 or 4 hundred calorie packs during the day for lunch. I don’t hit 2,000 calories anymore. In the past, I couldn’t even begin to tell you how many calories I ate. I feel healthier, especially now that I added chicken and turkey back into my diet and the protein is really helping. I can see where I don’t look as big, and so can others. It’s a great feeling. If I can keep up this kind of pace, there’s a real chance that I might not have to wear a tankini to cover myself this summer. I have 5 more months until it’s swimsuit time for me, and I really want to lose about 50 more pounds. That’s 10 pounds a month, and I think I can do it. This is the first time I’ve truly felt this motivated to lose.
I rewarded myself with cancelling my T-Mobile contract and buying a 16 gigabyte black iPhone. I am in love with it. I can’t believe I waited this long to get one. AT&T is superior; plus, I get 21% off my bill (which we put on a family plan with my dad’s phone), and I get a % off on any AT&T-branded accessories. I got 25% off on my soft case for my phone, and also, they waived my activation fee. I looked at my parents and said, “After 4 years, CVS finally gives back to me!” and we laughed. I’ve been making myself ringtones with a website I found through Google. It’s nice to be able to have any song I want as a ringtone.
I can feel a real change coming in me as the pounds fall away. I want to be a different person when I emerge. I want to be social, and I want to meet the Edward Cullen to my Bella, as lame as that may sound.

Yeah, I’m giving up the every day thing. Haha. I need to figure out how to install something to mirror my posts to LJ, though :/ Since I kind of stopped updating LJ somewhere along the lines.
Soooooooo. All I really have to say that’s been bugging me is that I don’t quite understand why the text that says “nothing compared to you :)” is something I can’t erase from the boy I never quite figured out. Blahhhhhh.
It’s snowing like crazy and I shoveled out my house, my neighbors’ house, and our other neighbors’ front walkway. It was fun.
I’m down to 198 lbs, officially. My diet is working thus far; I have dropped somewhere about 12 lbs from my heaviest days. So stoked. I’m finding I do have more energy. I just wish that I wasn’t hungry 99% of the time. Eating less food and healthier (within the ranges of my pickiness) has really done wonders. Although, I ate greasy food the other day for the first time since I really started this diet, and I spent an hour in the bathroom that night being sick, and about a half hour the next morning after I slept about 9 & 1/2 hours trying to feel better. Then I was okay. But yeah, definitely going easy on grease, and haven’t had fast food in about 2 weeks. So proud of myself.
I hope next weekend is better; I would really like to go to my grandma’s if the snow goes away enough, or if Twilight has come to the dollar theater, maybe Missy will come see it with me like we talked about. It would be super fun.
Lisa’s on vacation with George, and she hasn’t stopped texting me. Oh well. Haha.
That’s it. I’m going to go watch the Penguins play the Rangers in a Stanley Cup Quarterfinal rematch on NBC! I hope to see us win again. And I’d REALLY appreciate it if the Pens would let Janne Pesonen play to his full potential, because he is a beast.

I went out to shop at another Burlington today because I need a new coat. The Burlington was really fucked up and I just got pissed and left. I don’t really know what was going on, but I bumped the people in front of me. Nothing happened to either car which is a huge relief, but I still feel bummed that it happened, because I’m usually so careful. I think it’s because I had my mom’s car and I’m not entirely comfortable with it anymore.
Dad & I went to Barnes & Noble, Petco, Burlington (the 1st one to try to find a bigger coat for Maggie), and Giant Eagle, and I told Mom & Dad about my minor bumper accident. They weren’t pleased, but they weren’t mad, which is good.
I watched Step Up 2 The Streets and I loved it.
That’s all.

Nothing really happened. We went to Walmart because it was rather snowy. I went to Burlington and got a new purse and a cute coat for Maggie, which does not fit.
That’s it.

So glad I stayed late yesterday to do the order, ’cause we were busy all day. A local doctors’ office called in 19 scripts within 5 minutes (13 for 1 patient, 6 for 1 = 19 for 2) and it was utter madness. I didn’t really get much of anything done, but oh well.
Lisa and I went shopping at the mall after work, and it was kind of treacherous driving, because the snow had been falling all day, and apparently not many companies were very quick on the uptake getting their salting and plowing crews to come out. When we went to Burger King, I spun out. Thankfully, it was just for a minute, but the car beeped at me to tell me I had lost control, and it was kinda freaky.
Sooooo yeah, that’s about it.

It was certainly an interesting day.
I got to work and one of the first calls I answered went like this:
Me: CVS Pharmacy, can I help you?
Bitch: *crackling on cell phone half obscuring her voice* Yeah, you guys only ever have generic Oxycontin and I can’t take the generic cause it don’t work and I wanted to know if CVS finally got in brand name Oxycontin because I need it and I want to come there, I’m a regular customer
Me: *knowing damn well she’s just seeking because she’s no regular of ours* Well, we got some in but not all strengths, so I need to know how many and what strength you’re looking for so I can see if I have it
Bitch: I need the Oxycontin 20’s
Me: … and how many?
Bitch: 60, I need 60
Me: *puts her on hold, Cardinal delivery driver comes so I grab him while I fake looking, then pick up when the driver leaves* Yeah, I don’t have the 20’s in stock
Bitch: What the FUCK! Who has it then?
Me: Ma’am, there is no need to swear at me. I don’t know who has it because we all have different things in stock; you’ll have to call the other stores and ask them.
Bitch: I’M FUCKING DISABLED! AND STANDING IN FUCKING 15 DEGREE WEATHER (it was actually about 30 yesterday … haha) YOU HAVE TO CALL FOR ME! WHAT THE FUCK!
Me: Ma’am, I have a bunch of people lined up in my store waiting for me to help them, and my phone is ringing. If you want me to call, I’m going to have to take down your name and number and call you back.
Bitch: THEY’RE NOT STANDING IN FUCKING 15 DEGREE WEATHER! AND FOR THAT MATTER, YOU’RE NOT EITHER! AND I’M DISABLED!!
Me: Do you want me to take down your name and number or not?
Bitch: FUCKING CUNT!! *hangs up on me*
Yeahhhhh. Cunt doesn’t usually bother me, but this time it really pissed me off, because I didn’t do anything to deserve that. When I told my co-workers what happened, they were shocked. I told them if that woman came in, I’d make SURE she was disabled and snap all her bones. There’s no need to treat a human being like that, even if you are in a drug-fueled haze.
After that, Sara couldn’t come in until after 3, because she had a doctors’ appointment. We weren’t BUSY BUSY, just steadily crazy with scripts to fill, people wanting us to hold their hands practically and help them look for things all over the store, people asking asenine questions of us, and people wanting us to ring them up. The news is saying we’re supposed to get 6-8 inches of snow this weekend, so people are just unnecessarily freaking out AS USUAL. We live in Pennsylvania; it snows here.
So, yeah. I didn’t get to start putting my order away until about 4:30, and I decided to stay for overtime to put it away. Eric, our store manager, is going to bitch us out, but there is a lot that we need to do tomorrow, and it won’t get done if I have to finish the order. So I stayed until just after 7, then finally went home and showered.
All this on top of feeling really sick all morning with some kind of stomach bug. Sometimes I hate my job. This was definitely one of those days.

It’s actually the right day for once, haha.
We had a really interesting night at work. A lot of drama went down while I was witness to an employee interaction sorta thing to discuss some things that are not okay, and hopefully, it’s all done with. It was good to finally have that shit all done with so we can get back to how we were, but at the same time, it sucks that so much drama had to be involved.
I met up with some friends from high school tonight. They’d been discussing their plans and had briefly mentioned me, but promptly forgot about me. They decided randomly to call me and invite me, and I decided it would be good closure for me, because the one girl and I had stayed really close, but when she moved her longtime boyfriend in with her here, she basically forgot about me. So I did find the closure I needed to get over the fact that I’ll never be as close to her as I once was, and it was fun to just grab a drink out at a restaurant after the interesting day I had.
Hopefully, tomorrow, I can go see Twilight again at the theater, since I keep trying to. I just hope I have money after the impromptu drink session.
Yeah, so that’s about it! Haha. Good night!

I hate that we don’t have enough people with availability that we could have a midshift on Tuesday and Thursday :/ I wore the wrong shoes and my feet hurt all day since we didn’t get help until 2:30 and we were busy. It wasn’t insanely crazy, but it was a steady stream, which sometimes is worse. Lindsey and I played a prank on Mike and I ended up retelling it to the girls up front and I laughed so hard my eyes were watering to the point I couldn’t see around the tears. I promise — it was pretty much that funny.
Mom and I went on the Great Calendar Search, part trois, last night. Still came up empty-handed. Then we went grocery shopping. I may have to go again tomorrow, because I didn’t get everything I wanted.
I watched 90210 when we got home — HOLY. SHIT. I love love LOVE that show, and I knew Sean was up to no good, but this?!?! Damn. And Adriana!! Holy crap. Poor Navid. The previews for next week look super intense. I can’t wait!
THEN, I watched the Pens FINALLY win!! Too bad that Colby got beat up in the fight
BUT YAY!
So yeah, that’s about it.
